To discuss the software, you are welcome to join the Discord: PtitFx Discord server . PtitFx generates LFOs/effects (chases, pulses, ramp, sine, random…) to drive channels via OSC. It’s built for live use: a clean UI, real-time visualizer, straightforward controls (amplitude, offset, speed/frequency, phase, width) and shareable .json presets.

Dev log — November 2025
What’s new in the 0.1.12x branch:
- New show save/load system (.ptitfxshow.json).
- Improved tweening on sliders and OSC out.
- macOS builds (ARM + Intel) via GitHub Actions.
What’s still broken / weird:
- Visualizer sometimes fails to open on macOS Intel.
- Groupe and Preset to improve for better understanding
- Occasional “heavy” feeling on “Save show” with big setups.
Next steps:
- Stabilize macOS visualizer (Intel) and test with more rigs.
- Polish OSC sending by raising the output to 1000/sec.
- Write a short “getting started” page for new users.
Origins — October 2025
This was the very first usable version of P'titFx: one window, one LFO, and a very basic OSC output to D::Light.
- Simple sine / triangle / saw waves.
- No show manager, no presets, no remote.
- Used mainly for experiments on small rigs and punk shows.
From here the project slowly grew into a more serious tool: attributes/groups, better tweening, visualizer, and cross-platform builds.
Short roadmap: Mac versions, Tap Tempo, BPM quantize, OSC command list In/out,...
